watching what you eat?

Gmo’s In The News Again

Gmo’s or genetic modified organisms now considered to be a staple of our food supply has been in the news again. An article in Yahoo on the news wire AP told that the state of Hawaii has now become Gmo free and has passed legislation to that effect forbidding Gmo giants Monsanto and Syngenta from developing their strains of Gmo seed there for distribution throughout the USA and world markets. This is seen as a blow to the Gmo producers who own thousands of acres in Hawaii specifically for that purpose. Monsanto and Syngenta claim to have protection under U.S.  Patent laws as evidenced by recent decisions from the Supreme Court, and have vowed to take it their again to assure their ability to continue research and development of their seed in the state of Hawaii.
Hawaii is seen as a test case in which states who desire to remain organic or who wish to avoid certain agricultural practices in favor of public health and safety, will have to prove that it is the state’s rights to govern themselves before the Supreme Court and that Gmo’s are not a national issue that requires decisions on the availability of Gmo or similar products to be allowed in that state.
Hawaii contends that Gmo’s have the ability to cross breed with other non- super strains of corn and require high herbicide usage to eliminate super weeds that have developed due to long term usage of chemicals. It seems as if the weeds have built up a resistance to glyphosate based weed killers and since Hawaii is the research center for these seed varieties, Hawaii has little or no interest in the large seed companies playing Russian roulette with a variety of weed killers including the return of 2-4 d to the agrichemical line of herbicides. 2-4 d was used as one the ag herbicides in Agent Orange during the Vietnam war to defoliate trees to expose snipers and ruin the food supply of the Viet Cong.
Apparently the Gmo giants are looking at using these herbicides there in Hawaii and in the rest of the U.S. and wherever they sell their seed as a means to fight the super weeds they have developed consequentially along with their Gmo corn. The increased use of herbicides in agricultural production could lead to water well contamination if it hasn’t already. Also no research has been done to see the effects of herbicide runoff to sea life populations. The end result of continued residual usage of herbicides and pesticides will result in a  growing medium devoid of beneficial bacteria and microscopic organisms to aid in growing, basically leaving the soil void of all life and sterile.
Here in Ohio I have read where Syngenta is looking for contract growers of corn in our area to grow and produce, I assume Gmo corn as they are looking to expand production of ethanol here in Ohio for sale to China and Brazil, where the market for ethanol has increased substantially. China’s thirst for ethanol grows out of its manufacturing needs as their foot print on world markets increase their demand for energy in the line of fuels and additives to run generators to produce electricity to produce goods for a world market. Brazil is energy strapped and has been using ethanol for quite a while and has problems keeping enough of it. Also the side use of brewer’s grains is quite profitable allowing profits to be gained in 2 areas of revenue for the manufacturers of distillable products. Recent U.S.  decisions to lower the amount of ethanol in our fuel sources had very little effect on our corn markets as we have already developed a world market for our ethanol fuels.
Needless to say the Gmo issues are by no means over with and Ohio will have to wrestle with this issue soon as our well water and runoff water into our lakes and streams are threatened on two fronts. One by the use of fracking and second on the use of herbicides and Gmo’s in our agricultural usage. Let alone what the commercial ag producers are putting into our food supply we eat daily. 80 percent of the corn produced in the U.S. is currently of the Gmo variety as well as 95 percent of the soybeans , with the giant seed companies continually taking organic and regular farmers to court to protect their patent rights. What kind of an impact and how safe is our food supply when we let a few agri-giants predict our future food supply as well as the prices we pay for it? Let alone the impact of environmental damage as they strive to sterilize our fields and affect our water supply by increased use of fertilizer and herbicide usage. To say the least this is all food for thought.

hidden treasures

Spam Ads Online- Don’t You Just Love Them?

Have you looked in your spam folder before deleting? I do at times and I am amazed at the number and variety of emails that confront me there. From telling me how to improve my sex life to offering me money from such a thing called rock star loans. Yeah like Tom Petty is going to loan me money. Most all of these go directly to your spam filter and really it is only recently I have been checking out what is really going on there as I also advertise my carvings on craigslist and was afraid some the emails may inadvertently end up there. So I didn’t really want to toss away some business in the process.
One of my favorites though is the Extense ads where they promise to take the worry out of falling short on my man hood. I am sure some men have a hard time, (emphasizing hard),measuring their success in the bedroom in this department but I doubt a pill will extend your lack of worry. And that it is genetically impossible to correct a situation as being short on one end. Putting more lead in our pencil at our age is like trying to straighten a wet noodle, once it’s cooked you might as well forget it.
The other one that always get me is how they are going to fix my raging hormones as I reach menopause. Cure those night sweats, and help me have a healthy and safe sex life as I reach my golden years. First off, hardly think I will be doing too much of anything when I am in a walker or shuffling my way to the mailbox when I am in those golden years. Possibly forgetting to take any pills will probably be the norm so fixing my menopause problems will be out of order. Oh wait!  I must be female to have these problems; it seems as if they never direct an ad to go to a specific gender by way of name classification. So they send it to everyone regardless. Thinking maybe they hope I will let a woman know she is having problems with her hormones. Well as dad would say I would rather pour hot butter up a wild cats ass than mess with that subject, (don’t ask me about the saying it is a West Virginia thing). Last thing I would want to do is suggest to a woman she is having a hormone problem, I might get bitch slapped to show that, yes she has a problem. There is a reason spam ends up where it does.
Viagra, and a host of drugs are all available in your spam folder, and free cash till you have to pay it back to Lucky Louie , who will come to your house and help you make those easy payments they offer. One never knows what you might find in the world of spam. I actually think a lot of spam ends up where it does because: one-it is not solicited, two- has key words of extend, and Viagra, or menopause, and three – will have the phrase of help you improve your sex life, four – will help you find a date after you improve your sex life. And finally five – will help you get out of debt.

Pretty much that sums up the majority of the emails in my spam filter. If I was the worrying type I might grow a complex if I visited the spam box and took it seriously as I am sure they have identified a whole host of problems that may be wrong with our world , or then again are they playing with our emotions and feeding us what we want to hear?  I mean without sex drugs and rock and roll stars money , where would our generation be?

think i screwed up my fan box account

Think I Screwed Up my Fan Box Account- Oh Well

I don’t know if anyone out there is involved with this fan box account thing. Where they give you pretend money and add it to your account and then charge you fees and take it back . Never really understood what it is all supposed to mean except that by pulling in peoples email addresses, it allows fan box  to sell those to other advertisers , kind of a pyramid scheme in some respects, only no one but the creators ever makes anything unless you play their game.
I am not a game person and have no desire to let anyone lead me around , but have on occasion been irked at the persistence of these folks to attempt to hook me in to their BS. The last correspondence from themn told me that since I didn’t pay my IPL processing fees ( of which I am sure they would gladly accept a check) , so instead of paying me the supposed 1000 they owed me , instead they are going to charge my account 500. Or something like that so that they can pay my success coach to keep hassling me.
I was fairly nice in my response to them since this all started by an online friend suggesting my name to receive their emails. It seems as if I cant get them out of my inbox as they keep weaseling their way in. My response was that they had no intention of ever issuing a check to me for my supposed earnings in my account , and that basically since they controlled everything they might as well shove it up their ass, I no longer wanted to play their game and really wished my success coach would just leave me alone.
This wasnt enough for them so they decided to have my success coach smartie as she is called , write to me and encourage me to pay my IPL fees and that I needed to play their game and all would be fine, maybe someday I would see money come in the form of a check to my paypal account which I have never shared with them by the way, even though they asked.
My response was this: look smartass( oh excuse me I meant smartie), have no desire to fill my inbox with your shit and promises , and as an apparent sheep that you are following in the process is not for me . Please quit harassing me and instead quit sending me emails to my inbox. Any money i make will be by honest endeavor and hard work on my part, and not by suckering people into believing your shit really works. Do what you want but leave me alone. kevin in Ohio , ps. Ohioans are usually not well known for such long and cordial refusals to buy into your horseshit, and tend to answer in shorter terms like f--- off. http://profile.fanbox.com/Mail/Thread.aspx?ID=229924847&lit=5&me=iy9ns3Wo31segXkKmiTWt6rIrPrfxmCzEPm.ammBTjZndh38kt66BaKHWGsWJht6Y1YJMccMcpneo87Djb8hFUN33azKkCDJUdxEahK9X78nPHKs6FW53pHhjcTa2RYDqo2qYEF5h9k7nItyohAEnQbYeAewS68T.if5sWHMiub1hafhOO
Above is a copy of a link to my account , you are more than free to view my account and answer the 47 emails I have failed to respond to. Who knows maybe you can collect the 1000 dollars they supposedly owe me or maybe send smartie an email telling her what an ass she can be at times . especially when it comes to dealing with me .
Anyhow if any of your friends think they are doing you a favor by hooking you up to some free cash , hopefully they will remember nothing is free , including friendship at times . Sometimes the payment is putting up with the shit they get you into sometimes. As for smartie she is probably a loser anyhow , especially someone who insists on calling herself smart ,or a form of it, as that alone makes me wonder. Smart is defined by action and not an adjective one uses to describe themselves. It is not something that one uses to describe themselves but instead a friend’s impression of your deeds.
Anyhow have fun with my account , visit the link and generally disrespect them as I could care less if smartie ever has a life. Who knows maybe they will send me my money to just get them off their back. Have fun.

where is my shoe phone when i need it ?

Has our security really improved?

When I am talking security I am talking in terms of past versus present and the innovations and how they have affected our life in terms of invasion of privacy. I was talking with mom the other day and we were discussing how the NSA is eavesdropping on peoples private conversations , and I asked her if it was really any different than it was years ago when they had party lines and operators who were able to listen in on anyone’s conversation at any time .
She told me that years ago that our Uncle Clem had a party line and no tv, so they would pick up the phone and could tell by the voice on the line who was on there and they would listen for something to do . being real quiet or covering the mouthpiece so no one would realize they were being listened to.  At times there may be a person from every house on the party line as well as the operator , and all would be engaged in conversation. There was no TV and telephone was in its infancy as far as technology was concerned . you would know if it was your call by the number of rings in succession and then you would answer it. if you were from a small town and you didn’t answer then the operator would call you back later , tell you that you missed a call and place the call. Or a nosy neighbor would pick up the phone and call you later to tell you who had called.
There was no privacy and the only way you could have a phone in those times was to accept the party line principle. Still even when you had private lines there was still an operator who actually had the ability to listen in on your conversation at any time she or he wanted to. There was no court orders or warrants, and admissibility of evidence was usually allowed in courts , especially if you overheard something on a party line.
Not sure exactly when privacy was so cherished in telephone conversations , but I do remember the first radio telephones, a forerunner of the cell phone as we had these in 1974 when I was going to college soon after high school . these too were operator answered and monitored by an operator , by which you could be chastised by the operator for swearing over the phone and receive a FCC violation for using profanity in public. So much for thinking you had any privacy on those early models as they were based on shortwave principle.
Back then most of the monitoring was done on a local basis and usually without anyone's consent as it was part of the operators job to monitor calls and provide service when needed. The digital age brought about transferring our talk into digital signals and our  messages would exchange into undecipherable code that when transmitted through the telephone lines would result in gibberish if one was to intercept the signal . As well the radio telephones of old went digital also and there signal was also changed, making it harder to listen in on conversations.
This digitization of the telephone network eliminated the need for operators as switching equipment and computers readily transferred large amounts of data quite easily without any help from the operators who manually switched the calls years ago. Operators soon handled special requests for information and were used to report technical failures. These operator positions were then further eliminated again by computers that monitored and recorded line activity and performed random checks on line activity, and even reported downed lines or would record that information from the caller without the use of a human body.
Of course most of the changes happened in my lifetime so far and one would think we should be safer or at least our conversations should have a veil of privacy unsurpassed by the days of old. But this is not the case . Cell phones and telephones with their advanced technology can still be hacked today . Anything basically that has computer programming to protect your identity is constantly being challenged by hackers. It may not be your phone instead it may be someone else's phone who shares the same technology. But once they get in one phone or system then it is possible to crack the rest of the systems similar to it.
Now the government is stepping into the espionage business in a large way since 9-11 and is contributing again to our eventual loss of personal privacy as agencies like homeland security and the NSA and FBI are using supposedly counter terrorism techniques to monitor our telephone conversations in the name of providing us with a safe free place to live. Key words in everyone's conversations from cell phone to home phones and emails as well as records of sites visited on the internet results in a compilation of  possible terrorist activity due to guilt by association that may result in your arrest and conviction on a terrorist charge. This may happen by that same computer that initially helped you place a call, whether it be in a cell phone or in the switching rooms of our major telephone companies. Wholesale widespread information is now being shared with the government from a variety of sources.
Back in the days of the party line if you overheard someone saying you were going to kill a person, and it so happened that person ended up dead and you reported it, would it be any different than today  when the NSA collects information on would be terrorists that want to blow up a school for instance. There is no difference.
If a major federal authority want to eavesdrop on you I am sure they have a judge somewhere that will sign a court order giving them authority to do so. The have done it for years, and will continue to do it. With the loss of our personal freedoms under the terrorist acts legislation , it is actually easier for them to do it now legally.
My advice is that if you have something to share with someone  on a personal basis that you really don’t want anyone to know about . Go visit them and share it in person. Including death threats etc, what ever, if you are so worried about your privacy. This is something that you are not going to change, as big brother is watching you no matter what you do.  Only it is easier now for them to pry their way into your personal life than ever before. Writing this blog may be cause to put me on some kind of a watch list.
I have nothing to hide and will freely express my opinion and would hope that I never will be called up on speaking what I feel. But who knows? My understanding is that it isn't as if they are listening to every word of every conversation and recording it . Instead it is that it takes a combination of factors to elevate you to a watch list. Certain words , possibly foreign language used, or code words, as well as a history of over seas calls,or links to suspected terrorists . For the most part they are not worried about the ingredients to Aunt Minny’s favorite apple pie , and for the most part if you do nothing wrong then I doubt you will ever have a g-man at your door.

If so invite him in and sit him down , offer him a a cup of tea and share a doob with him. it might throw him off his game, or at least humble him into sharing some of his stash with you.

Another Goal Met!!!

Yesterday I managed to receive 20000 page views for my blog. So far it has taken me a little less of 1 year to accomplish this.  It happened in 357 days and it averages out to about 56 page views per blog. That is 56 different people would click on my blog page and I would try to entertain you the reader  and learn how to write stories , give to many opinions, draw pictures, and try to have some fun and enjoy myself .
There may be 56 people out there, more on some days less on others, that have taken time to be with my writings, but when I am sitting here writing, alone by chance with my thoughts, trying to stick to the plan somewhere in my head of how and where I am going with the subject at hand. I try to formulate those words I think you may want to hear, of a subject that interests you, with a plot or plan of how to relay all this information in a concise manner, after all that is what storytelling is all about. And in some ways, that is all I am doing relaying information on something, whatever the topic of the day.
I like visual things like pictures and drawings for those who couldn’t imagine. And even for those that can. Some of my most memorable stories were from my youth. When Tommy and Susie ran off to the old boat house down by the lake, because Tommy saw Scruffy nose his way in the rotted old door. Tommy ran up on the deck of the pontoon walkway leading to the old boathouse and yelled out for Scruffy. Tommy heard a yelp and then a large splash noise from behind the old door. Then there was no more noise from inside the boat house.

Tommy looked at Susie and “ I can’t let Scruffy die Susie . You go run for help. As Susie ran over the hill she looked back to see Tommy just squeezing through the partly open door of the old boat house.  Susie started crying as she hard as she could as she started running and sobbing as she went for the old farm house with its lights starting to glimmer in the early evening hours.
Tommy squeezed through the door and there was Frankie holding Scruffy and his sister Ann, in the dark of the boat house a candle glowed on a shelf and illuminated Ann’s face and she was smiling a wide smile and said to Tommy
I thought you would never get rid of Susie now we can kiss.  Tommy smiled and took Ann’s hand and leaned over to kiss her.
Yes those were the good old books that taught us real life examples in our formative years. Life lessons to be learned. Like Susie for instance, we learned Tommy was an ass and a womanizer with nothing in life as sacred, but was typical of women’s impressions of how a man will act when one or more females are in his company. One more thing, Susie may have friends and best friends but Ann, Tommy, or Frankie would never be considered on a list of friends if she ever finds out what Tommy is doing to her behind her back. Never trust no one especially Tommy, Ann, Frankie and most of all Scruffy. That damn traitor Scruffy.
These innocent stories would send my mind reeling and was a relief from my own life as reading was like a drug to me. Authors would verbalize creating action to be accentuated with adjectives sometimes so rare and precise as to invoke a mind to feel as if he is really there in that time and place. This is what I try to do. Tell you a story and try the best I can, because in the scheme of things, of those 56 page views there actually were 57 and that was me. I am the toughest critic and most sarcastic of all to view and at times hard to please and other times easy going. Prefer the latter over the former.
Of course thanks to all my loyal readers, if I had only 357 viewers instead of 20000, then this might be a sign to move on as the title suggests. But you give me hope and encouragement as this might be something I need to improve upon. Never said I was good, just good at it and there is always room for improvement. Thanks again everyone. Also I will celebrate again on my 365 th blog also in 8 days hopefully.

small farmers are facing bigger hurdles in future in Ohio

Big Business Strikes Another Blow to Small Farmers

Just heard on the radio the other day from an ag network, the state of Ohio is going to start restricting the use of antibiotics in normal animal husbandry practices in an effort to reduce the amount of antibiotics in the food we eat specifically, poultry , pork and beef as well as in milk.  This is a welcome relief for the consumer but also puts the small farmer in a difficult financial position and may actually force some small farmers out of business or at the very least make raising any of these species of animals an unacceptable risk  they may not want to take on . This will eventually reduce the amount of small farmers providing these animals for market, and will be subjecting the consumer to higher prices for these products from the grocery shelf and not actually reduce the antibiotics in anything.
The new rule changes will affect all producers across the board including small farmers as well as large producers and at first glance is a positive change for the consumer. But closer look sees the new rules which will be phased in over 3 years as another hurdle for the small farmer to climb across. Large corporate farms or family farms for the most part secure their veterinary services on a regular basis and have a working relationship with a large animal veterinarian who is now or will be required to prescribe antibiotics that were normally over the counter and readily available to all when needed to administer to animals to help them through illnesses without prescription. The small farmer rarely uses a vet but instead administers antibiotics as a rarity and only when needed.
Abuse of these antibiotics under the guise of preventative care has resulted in trace amounts of antibiotics showing up in all forms of meat production and milk and dairy products. This happened mainly due to large corporations misusing the antibiotics and feeding them to healthy animals to prevent problems before they arise. The trouble is when antibiotics are needed for human consumption they are becoming ineffective due to a buildup in our bloodstream due to this agricultural practice. They are now going to require all antibiotics to be prescribed by veterinarians to supposedly halt this practice. This is a boon to two groups the large producer and the veterinarians in the large animal practice of whom there are very few and they are almost exclusively practicing for large producers in the first place.
There are plenty of dog and cat veterinarians who almost exclusively practice on small animals and this is a multimillion dollar industry while large animal vets are rare and hard to get ahold of for small farmers who use them only when absolutely needed. Small farmers like me, with knowledge of animal husbandry have for quite a while purchased antibiotics and administered them without a vet’s prescription. Now this has changed and will lead to mistreatment and more deaths of animals due to the inability of not getting vet services when needed and not having the availability of antibiotics when it is needed. Not only will the small farmer have the cost of the prescription of antibiotics they could have purchased under the old rules, but will now also have a vet bill associated with the illness, the farmer could have prevented himself if he can find a vet who will write the prescription.
Will it make our agricultural products any safer? Actually I doubt it as the veterinarian understand that the money is in servicing large accounts like the corporate farms and that whatever the farmer or manager wants done will usually happen regardless of whether there are rules governing the use of antibiotics. If you have a barn full of about 30000 chickens and you have a die off due to whatever, you are still going to resort to antibiotics they have always used only now it will be under the vets care. This will cause the number of large animal vets to be limited as corporate farms that would have normally just administered the antibiotics will now have to retain a vet and the cost will be passed on to the consumer . Chickens, pigs , cattle , it makes no difference. With less vets available then it will be increasingly harder for the small farmer to retain veterinary services in the long run. Coupled with other factors like GMO’s or genetically modified organisms , and other feed additives will result in a lower quality product for market with a higher price tag and less competition from the small farmer who normally produces a higher quality product. Less competition from small farmers always mean higher profits for corporate farms while actually in effect reducing quality. This is the future of corporate farming. And the demise of the small farmer, who has always been the backbone of agriculture and who has always stood for quality products that made this country famous.
We vote representatives into our state legislature who write these laws at the bequest of corporate farming specifically to limit competition and to drive the small farmer out of business. We have to vote these people all out and elect representatives who have the people’s interest at heart. Consumers and small farmers have to be protected with sound laws and regulations not designed to benefit one portion of the populace or enhance profitability in the name of progress.  To me an incumbent politician is someone who needs to be retired as they are partially responsible for the laws that exist now that require us to obey good or bad. When left in office to long, politicians become part of the good old boy network subject to cronyism and setting up of alliances with corporate America to write laws in favor of one group or another, instead of what is good for the voter or consumer. This is just my opinion, one small farmer seeking progress in legislative action, in a positive manner, not a negative action to cover an alternative purpose.

p.s -In an effort to provide references to this i checked the Ohio Farm ag network which i am sure provided the news cast that caught my ire and could find no reference instead found a supporting article that describes basically the same thing but only that it puts a burden on the large producer which I dispute. the proof is in the numbers as the larger the operation, then costs are kept to  minimum as cost compared to a small farmer. here is the supporting article. i couldn't find the supporting Ohio legislation unless it is tied into other legislation -ofbf.org/news-and-events/news/2594/- interesting to note in this Ohio Farm Bureau article is the increase of therapeutic use of antibiotics to treat animals in Denmark after similar legislation was enacted on farmers there, they saw a 223 percent increase in supposedly antibiotic prescription usage by veterinarians to supposedly treat animals . another note worthy of mention is most of this legislation  is the result of large producers marketing livestock in close confined conditions and using antibiotics as a preventative cure to avoid major health issues as a result of this total confinement.

an actual readers response answered

It Is Only a Dream!

Friend James helping me finish bears , and yes i do have one friend at least.

So for all you dream interpreters out there , I dreamed I was running alongside a 800 pound grizzly sow bear with flapping lips who really wasn’t into eating me but instead just keeping up with me. There is a saying and that is some days you get the bear and some days the bear gets you.
My interpretation is that by carving bears all the time alive, the bear was just a symbol telling me what I was doing was good due to the fact it didn’t eat me. The reason I was running is they always told me I was big enough to hunt bear with a stick but last night in bed I had no stick and I was just running to get the heck out of there. But as fast as I ran the bear caught up with me.  And in the end when I slowed she slowed and just looked at me with adoring eyes and large flapping lips . The trouble with a bear it is kind of hard to differentiate between kind loving eyes, and sucker you in closer I want to see if you really taste like chicken eyes.
Anyhow if you get a chance and see much more in that dream than I have feel free to enlighten me.
In response to a reader’s question, I was asked what my take was on pot legalization.
In response to that question I needed to light up and ponder my correct response. Hmmmmm. It is good for a lot of reasons.
Number one is that it feeds black market activity and hence supports a police state to enforce a lousy rule to begin with.
It was used by the U.S. in World War 2 and was planted around Missouri and other states and used as a source of fiber for which it is a weed and will grow rampantly in most conditions. Alaska weed is as prized as Mexican and Acapulco gold. Once planted outside requires hardly little maintenance if used as a source of fiber. And it is believed it could reduce our dependency on oil if we were to use it to fuel a variety of green methods of extracting the energy out of it to produce fuel in the form of heat by converting to pellets , or possibly through an extraction process called biogas production. Pot requires little or no fertilizer and its woody stem resembles trees with a much shorter growing season. Also it will produce more tons per acre and could reduce our dependence on foreign oil and may be the answer to global warming.
Besides that it tastes good when dried and smoked as well the euphoric high only lasts awhile without putting people’s lives in danger from excess consumption much like alcohol which is legal. It is mind expanding as compared to mind altering and you can function if you re high.
It has medicinal qualities as it is a nausea fighting drug affecting the brain in a way to settle ones stomach after chemo as well it will give you a heck of a case of munchies if you are well enough and just using it

recreationally. For chronic pain sufferers it allows you to get up and get moving and this allows you to work out all those kinks you may have from setting too long. I have a bad back and use it to alleviate or hide the pain as it takes my mind off the pain and puts it somewhere else. To sit and dwell on pain is a bad thing to do if you are a chronic pain sufferer, as it was makes you lethargic and lazy, as all you can think about is relief in the form of narcotics. It has helped me with migraines but would use it as last resort as it does tend to inflame the migraine if it is not administered at the right time which is really only early onset. This is when you begin to tense from the pain.

They are still looking for negative effects of using pot on a long term basis including scare tactics saying the residual THC targets the reproductive system of males and resides in the testicles increasing the chance of impotency. Well it doesn’t stop sperm production and evidence of chromosomal damage is exaggerated but when you are my age it isn’t like I was going to go out and start a new nation of pot smokers, but then again it might be a better place after all. Congrats to Colorado and Washington state. I always believed those places to have their heads up their asses at times, but this is one time they have it right and it will not be long till we have it here in Ohio, only not soon enough. Damn I just dropped the roach in my pants and it burned a hole in my jeans. Well there is one thing wrong with pot. It is much better smoked than in brownies. I am sure if Martin Luther King were around today he would be toking up on a big fatty saying yes " I have a dream."
