houston we have a problem 

        well today i received my new camera and thought i would take a couple of pics and show them to you. it has a higher mega pixel but at same time i have to dumb the pic down as it has to much information and would take to long to upload and eventually download so try to keep all that simple. and i am sure you have noticed that i don't doctor my pictures much. but i think there is a raw beauty in this as sometimes it is more realistic. i am no thomas kincaid,  a great painter as he showed all other artists how to make a living and be known while you are still alive. he painted a lot of dreamy story book paintings.

       the only reason i make mention of mr kincaid as his style is somewhat comparable to a lot of photographic images on the web where most of the picture taking is done in the computer with photoshop technique. a new mixed media is suddenly born as we take ordinary colors and scenes are blurred into dream states , just as mr kincaid did with his brush. 

       and yet as i sit here and think about what i wrote and why, and in a sense one could say the same about me in regards to me using my sculptures in this blog demonstrating my new camera. but both my sculpture and the photo are seen in the natural light pouring into the room. i dampened the flash and this helped bring out the true colors. it is slightly out of focus and will need to work on that . but overall i have seen some nice pictures. it is a kodak easyshare c-1550, 16 mp. camera and was on sale for 59 dollars . anyhow i am sure it will be an upgrade for my blog. 

               

         clodette shyly peeks through the asparagus fern  wondering if that farmer with the big hands is ever going to get back to painting her body and finishing her up. she waits breathlessly. 

               

          clod, pale white from a hard winter is  keeping guard with that pesky dog babe, who keeps crowding in pictures and tries to be nonchalant. she is looking out over her kingdom of sticks . as she tries to put up with clod. after  as all she wants to do  is chew his leg off. 

        out side it seems to do better but is limited to a 5 power zoom. also it will do video clips and may try something like that someday. then post a link to u-tube. 

        and the problem is not only to use all the new hi tech stuff out there but to use it right and know what you are doing. seems like the only way to do that is to use it repeatedly till you know what you are doing. that is one nice thing about the blog . you have to do that daily . also i would like to mention i will soon be approaching my one third year mark of writing a blog daily. hopefully i have learned and since i still have the same audience , would hope you continue with me as i continue one blog daily for one year.
