lee

          lee looked at ann when she wasn't looking and just stared as she talked on about what the latest proposal was at the gunnite corp., her family owned . supper was finished and lee helped his dad to bed amid bitching about this and that from his dad . ann finished the dishes and lee turned up the gas in the sunroom. it was dark and the snow was blowing outside. it was warm in, as they were snuggled together on the couch with ann laying under lee's arm and lee sitting  with his legs stretched out before him. a warm fuzzy blanket would cover her as she lay on the couch all warm and secure. lee's long legs were being warmed buy the fire burning in the gas fireplace at his feet. lee listened intently and would interject a question here and there and act like he was interested but his mind could not help going back to today's events with his dad saying the mean things he did.
       at times he wondered what it was all for , why give a shit about the farm?  when he was gone there was no one to step up and take it over. and when his dad was gone the rest of the family his 2 older brothers and sister would rush in wanting to liquidate everything. but even then, there was little money,  bills needed payed  before anyone received anything. so that in the end lee's sum total of his life's work would be a miserable nothing. all those years of eating shit spewed from his dad and lee biting his lip to keep quiet,or to not smack the old man would be wasted for nothing. lee just silenced his mind and went back to ann's problems on the table now.
       what a  relief it had been to meet ann and her new set of problems with her company. lee always figured their were bigger fish to fry and ann provided them tonight as he sat there and listened . maybe finally he could see a way for her and him to break free of their family struggles and just have a good time the rest of their lives. so who cares if they lose the farm. lee couldn't right now as his hand cupped anns breast under the blanket and squeezed ever so adoringly, causing her to pause as she was rambling on about the legal ramifications of this and that.  lee had done that accidentally and he leaned over and kissed the side of her face lightly as if to tel her to go on and she did as she was getting quite involved in her story. lee took all the information in she was feeding him , and would let it digest. then there would be more questions, but a buyout of the family interests seemed inevitable from the offer proposed.
       finally a chance for him and ann to slip away to find a life finally together as one . this is what lee had hoped for all along. to find them selves a little piece of property where lee could build a house for them to live in till they died. to be forever together. lee wondered if they would ever be able to get along as well as they dd when they lived their lives separate. he knew there would be problems as each both had their idea of forever together, and it sometimes clashed. compromises would have to be worked out. lee would try his best to hold his temper and stay the course, and ann would just have to be more practical if possible. but to be together was a dream finally coming true. lee wanted nothing but the best for ann , and he hoped it was him. he felt they could live in a cardboard box under a bridge if they had to as long as he had her love.
      ann  was talking to lee the whole time he was thinking about something else, was beginning to tire from  talking and suddenly went quiet listening to the music and enjoying the snuggling comfort. . again lee cupped her breast , and she immediately awoke . she looked up adoringly at lee and smiled her coy smile , and lee found her nipple through her tight sweater and circled it gently with his finger . she leaned over and kissed him softly on the cheek beside his mouth and lee rushed to press his lips over her mouth and placed his free hand behind her soft hair to press her head to his as  their tongues explored the limits of their vulnerability as there seemed to be none to him and her as they embraced . things soon became to hot in the sun room for either of them and plans were hurriedly drawn to head to the bedroom . lee locked the cellar door with a deadbolt  his father  couldn't reach and then he locked his bedroom door with another assuring no entrance from his dad and they settled in to bed for a sensual retreat from their troubles . exhausted from their explorations into arousing sensitivities they collapsed in each others arms , their bodies naked and intertwining as they soon fell asleep .
